Below is a summary of the cost allocations made in November 2010 and the expected funding sources as of June 2011. The table will regularly be updated to reflect the latest funding status.

Additionally, the TIGAR Project has received approximately CHF 200,000 for years 2012 to 2015 from the Australian Government through its donation to various WIPO programs in 2012.
Donations
The TIGAR project is primarily funded through in-kind contributions from participating organizations (TIs, right holders and WIPO). Additional funding will be required to support the operational costs of the project, its implementation and operational support for the TIGAR system network. WIPO has established a Fund-in-Trust (FIT) account to facilitate donations and additional funding for the project. The banking details of the TIGAR FIT are:

1: The DAISY Consortium’s in-kind and cash contributions total USD 75,000 yearly for the three years.
2: The IPA’s in-kind contributions are CHF 50,000, CHF 50,000 and CHF 45,000 for years 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
3: The PLS’ contribution is GB£ 15,000 for year 1. Contributions in years 2 and 3 remain to be confirmed.
4: The contribution of Elsevier or the Elsevier Foundation is a one-time donation of USD 10,000.
5: The contribution of STM is a one-time donation of EURO 15,000.
6: The contribution of Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) is a one-time donation of EURO 10,000.
7: The contribution of Republic of Korea is a one-time donation of up to a maximum of CHF 20,000.
8: The IPA makes an additional contribution of CHF 15,000 in June 2012.
