Meet the Stakeholders > Dan Pescod

Vice-Chair, World Blind Union; Global Right to Read Campaign; Manager, RNIB European, International and Accessibility Campaigns
"Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to over two million people with sight loss. We provide braille and Talking Books, but also information on eye conditions and support and advice for people living with sight loss.
Blind, partially sighted and other reading disabled people have a right to read. That is why we founded the UK’s right to read campaign.
We urge WIPO member states to support both the “VI Stakeholder Platform” work and the proposal by Brazil, Ecuador and Paraguay for a WIPO treaty for reading disabled people."
